A total of 288 sets of these 16-foot tall, French doors were restored by refinishing the surface of the wood. Some sections that had been damaged were restored by wood graining, a technique used by artists to paint the wood grain from the new material to match to the original. These doors are throughout the property of the Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui.
Artisan Restoration International (ARI) is a very versatile company that has handled everything from bronze sign design and manufacturing, to wood door refinishing, and everything in between. I have found their work top notch, and the quality superb. They are among the best I have worked with, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for high quality restoration work. ~ Ed Farias, Director of Engineering The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui
